This is a look and style I’ve created for Yuki. Her skin and hair are in great condition. She only needs definition on the eyes, brows and lips. I’ve chosen green and brown for the eyes as these tones suit the Asian Pacific or Far Eastern skin tones.

Laidback natural smoky eye for summer evening

Natural smoky eye for summer evening

This is a light pretty look for a summer’s evening. Fiona has the classic ‘Snow White’ look – oval shaped face, olive skin and bright blue eyes and dark hair. The look I’ve created is one that shows naturally glowing healthy skin with navy blue eyeliner to set off her blue eyes. To do the smoky eyes ‘lite’, I’ve used a bronze palette with a subtle shimmer, and no black at all.

You can wear this look for going out to dinner or for your book launch!

“Ivy put me at ease from the moment I sat down.  We went through colour, style and overall effect, so that I quickly became confident that she understood what I wanted.  She consulted me at each stage: colour matching my own foundation, giving me options on colours and finish and she gave me tips on how to achieve the look by myself. Sometimes having your make up done can be a nerve-wracking experience.  There is nothing worse than looking like a drag queen with inch thick foundation and having to smile politely , while dying inside. I have certainly had a few scary results from over-zealous make up artists over the years.  I was absolutely thrilled when I saw the final effect; it was still me, just a better version of me. “
