I prepared this look to suit Clare’s cute navy window pane check 60s dress from Warehouse with a peter pan collar. The makeup is a light version of the 1960s cut crease. The makeup has been brought up to date and kept sheer and luminous, rather than the traditional 60s flat, dense and opaque. Contouring has been confined to just the forehead and the jawline. Lipstick is dark pink lipliner with light pink lipstick on top, to add illusion of depth. The hair has been teased into a bouffant quiff or pompadour with side swept ponytail, the ends of which are lightly curled for effect.
